I have more than 30 years professional experience working with people in both personal and business settings.I have learned that recognising and honouring individual differences is an essential pre-requisite of any effective counselling, coaching or therapeutic endeavour.

 

I apply an eclectic approach founded on building awareness and drawing on therapeutic modalities that best suit your needs as you present them. My methods and techniques help you break through your limiting patterns and enhance your strengths.

 

Neuroscience has shown that 5% of our thinking lives in our conscious mind and 95% in our unconscious (Lipton, 2008). When there is a conflict between the unconscious and the conscious minds the unconscious will always win. Raising conscious awareness is therefore a cornerstone to living a more empowered and joyful life. As your awareness grows so too does the wisdom of your choices.

 

Apart from my formal qualifications, my life experience has served me well in my work with people. Whether life has brought me challenges or blessings, and there have been many, I have received gifts from both. Finding the gift can be the challenge in many situations. I believe that there is almost always a gift if we can get out of our own way and look hard enough. This in itself can be our biggest challenge. I am still learning.
